INKAWAQANQA
Far from the crowds, high in the Andes, Inkawaqanqa is a hidden gem for climbers seeking raw beauty and pure adventure. Developed with love by the local climbing community, this volcanic rock paradise is often compared to Hatun Machay — but with more solitude and just as much soul.
Located just over two hours south of Huaraz and a few minutes past the town of Conococha, Inkawaqanqa is wild and remote. There are no shelters here, so bring your tent, sleeping bag, and a sense of exploration. Camp under a sky full of stars and wake up ready to tackle some of the most fun and challenging lines in the region.
