MOUNT YANAPACCHA

“A Hidden Gem in the Heart of the Cordillera Blanca” ❄️🌄

Yanapaccha, meaning "Black Waterfall" in Quechua, is a striking and lesser-known peak nestled near the head of the Llanganuco Valley. Just slightly lower than Pisco, it's a bit more technical, making it an exciting challenge for those looking to step up their mountaineering experience. 💥

The reward? Stunning alpine views of Chopicalqui, Huascarán, Huandoy, Pisco, Chacraraju and the sparkling turquoise lakes below. 🏞️

This route is an ideal stepping stone for future high-altitude climbs and an unforgettable experience for adventurous spirits. 💪⛏️
